Actor Anthony Mackie criticises Marvel for raising racism behind the camera. Is Marvel diversifying its universe?

Actor Anthony Mackie criticises Marvel for raising racism behind the camera. Is Marvel diversifying its universe?

Anthony Mackie (Actor)

Actor Anthony Mackie, who portrays as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon in the Marvel films, has criticised Marvel’s hiring process behind the camera. Mackie has stated that in the seven Marvel projects that he has been a part of, the team has been mostly white.

“When The Falcon and the Winter Soldier comes out, I’m the lead. When Snowpiercer comes out, you’re the lead. We have the power and the ability to ask those questions,” Mackie explained actor Daveed Diggs in a recent episode of Variety’s Actors on Actors series. “It really bothered me that I’ve done seven Marvel movies where every producer, every director, every stunt person, every costume designer, every PA, every single person has been white.”

He wondered what the reasoning behind selecting a mostly black crew for Black Panther was. “But then when you do Black Panther, you have a Black director, Black producer, you have a Black costume designer, you have a Black stunt choreographer. And I’m like, that’s more racist than anything else. Because if you only can hire the Black people for the Black movie, are you saying they’re not good enough when you have a mostly white cast?”

Mackie ended by stating Marvel Studios should eventually “hire the best person for the job. Even if it means we’re going to get the best two women, we’re going to get the best two men.”

Marvel is attempting to diversify both in front of and behind the camera on its forthcoming projects. Ryan Coogler will return to write and direct Black Panther 2; Chloe Zhao is directing The Eternals, starring a multiracial cast; Cate Shortland directed Black Widow; Destin Daniel Cretton is directing Shang-Chi, starring a mostly Asian cast, and Deborah Chow is in discussions to direct upcoming projects.

Marvel executive producer Victoria Alonso in a recent Reddit Q&A announced that the studio aims on bringing more diversity to its future slate. “I can tell you we are actively working on making our universe as diverse and inclusive as we can. Be patient with us. We have a lot coming in the future,” she stated.

Do you know experts have told that this method of breathing can keep you away from coronavirus?

Do you know experts have told that this method of breathing can keep you away from coronavirus?

According to a report published in The Conversation, if a person breathes in through their nostrils and exhales through their mouth then it will be more profitable for their body.

Authored by Louis J. Ignarro, who was given Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1998, the research says that this way of breathing is more profitable as the nasal cavities produce something called nitric oxide. This molecule improves blood flow throughout the lungs and boosts oxygen levels in the blood.

When one is breathing through their nostrils the nitric oxide directly enters their lungs. This leads to preventing the replication of the coronavirus in the lungs.

Moreover, higher oxygen saturation of the blood can also cause a person to feel refreshed. The human body regularly generates Nitric Oxide, which assists in the formation of the endothelium, in arteries and veins in our bodies, particularly the lungs.

The endothelium also aids in smoothing the muscle of arteries which supports the restriction of high blood pressure matters. It also boosts the blood flow in other organs. Apart from that, the Nitric Oxide also serves in stopping blood clots in normal arteries.

Feeling depressed? Here are some tips from the experts to counter depression during the quarantine.

Feeling depressed? Here are some tips from the experts to counter depression during the quarantine

As major people self-isolate to defeat the spread of COVID-19, a specialist offers tips on how to counter depression during the crisis.

The eruption of the new coronavirus has struck many areas of daily life, including mental health. With the unexpected interruption of our routines and the new pattern of social distancing, life as we knew it has dramatically changed in a matter of weeks. Suddenly, many of us are suffering the stress of the news—and its impact on our finances—alone, placing us at risk for depression during the coronavirus outbreak.

"This is the perfect storm for depression and anxiety,” states Dr. Robert Leahy, an attending psychologist at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, the author of The Worry Cure and Keeping Your Head After Losing Your Job, and a national specialist in cognitive therapy.

With everything operating on, people can discover themselves ruminating, appearing hopeless and helpless, and, eventually depressed. The National Institute for Mental Health describes depression as a general but dangerous mood disorder that negatively affects how you feel, think, and manage daily activities such as sleeping, eating, and working. Symptoms include a persistent sad, anxious, or “empty” mood, irritability, and feelings of guilt and negative thinking.

"We are facing a national trauma, whether it’s the fear of being infected or infecting someone else, or the economic downturn, and many people are isolated,” Dr. Leahy states. Those who already strive with depression and stress may find the situation intensifies their feelings. Others who are practiced to keeping busy may suddenly notice themselves alone with their thoughts more, and lacking friends and family outside of their house.

While the requirement to sustain social distance produces some barriers, there are specific steps you can take to “make the best of the worst,” according to Dr. Leahy. Here, he designs out ways to guard your mental health and counter depression during the coronavirus outbreak.

It’s OK to feel confused and to confess to yourself and to others these are tough times. Yet this could be a chance to consider what you value or want to do with your life. If you view this period as an intentional practice of not going out to restaurants and bars, you may understand you can succeed without those routines. When the pandemic falls and the emergency is lifted, you may notice you welcome the freedom to go to the gym or hang out with your friends even more.

Just because we are self-isolating doesn’t imply we need to truly isolate ourselves. Make a listing of friends, including some you haven’t had communication within a long time, and use your phone as a telephone. Set up a routine time each day to communicate with people, and schedule virtual get-togethers on online platforms to speak or maybe even play games. You could start a book club online with your friends.

PCB demands ICC to get written assurances from the BCCI.

PCB demands ICC to get written assurances from the BCCI

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has requested the ICC to obtain written assurances from the BCCI that its team would suffer no problems getting visas to perform in the 2021 T20 World Cup and the 2023 50 over World Cup in India.

“We are also looking at the fact that the ICC World Cups are to be hosted in India in 2021 and 2023 and we have already asked the ICC to give us written assurances from BCCI that we will not face any problems getting visas and clearance to play in India,” PCB CEO Wasim Khan stated in an interview on the Youtube Channel.

According to a senior official, the PCB has requested ICC to report the BCCI to get the assurances from their government in the following months. The official also confirmed that the ICC executive board would determine at its next meet whether the next World T20 Cup would be hosted by India or Australia.

Khan stated it was doubtful the World T20 could be held this year in Australia. “The big question now is when the World T20 is held in 2021 will it be hosted by Australia or India as India has the hosting rights for the already scheduled World T20 Cup in 2021,” he stated.

Khan denoted out that in recent times that numerous Pakistan sports squads were not permitted by the Indian government to play in India. “That is why we have asked for the advance assurances. But eventually it is an ICC event and it is their responsibility to ensure we as a full member and signatory of the participants agreement go and play in these ICC events.”

“We have a good relationship with the BCCI but we know realistically a bilateral series is not possible in the foreseeable future,” he stated.

Saurav Ganguly

When questioned what would be PCB’s position if BCCI chief Saurav Ganguly decided to compete for the post of ICC Chairman when the sitting Chairman Sashank Manohar steps down next month, Khan stated so far no candidate including Ganguly or England’s Colin Greaves had declared their intentions clear.

“We are getting mixed signals and we don’t know if Ganguly will decide to stand for the ICC post,” he told. PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani’s name has also been considered as a powerful candidate to replace Manohar but he recently in a media interaction made it clear that he was assigned to Pakistan cricket for the next three years.

Fishermen from Tamil Nadu discover crystal meth worth Rs 100 crore. Is China illegally doing something to destroy India?

Fishermen from Tamil Nadu discover crystal meth worth Rs 100 crore. Is China illegally doing something to destroy India?

Crystal Methamphetamine

Amidst the India-China border problem, there have been shreds of evidence being discovered that China is illegally performing something to overcome the reputation of the country.

Fishermen from Tamil Nadu deemed they had spotted a barrel of "refined tea" in their fishing net, however, it turned out to be crystal meth worth Rs 100 crore.

The Mamallapuram fishermen broke open the barrel which had many green sachets of refined tea with Mandarin and English markings. On opening the packs, they saw white powder inside them, then they informed it to the police.

Police seized 78 kilograms of the thing and gave it for analysis, and discovered out that the powder inside the packs is crystal methamphetamine.

Police doubt that the barrel was a part of a consignment that docked along the coast by drug smugglers serving in southeast Asian nations.

These occurrences confirm that the worldwide drug market has not been decreased despite the COVID-19 situation.

Do you know which colour ink is applied in the voters' forefinger in the Rajya Sabha elections? Why?

Do you know which colour ink is applied in the voters' forefinger in the Rajya Sabha elections? Why?

Electoral ink or indelible ink is a semi-permanent ink or stain that is applied to the forefinger (usually) of voters during elections to avert electoral cheating such as casting the vote repeatedly. It is an efficient way for nations where identification documents for citizens are not always standardised or institutionalised. Election ink utilizes silver nitrate, and extreme exposure can provoke argyria. It was first applied during the 1962 Indian general election, in Mysore State, now the modern-day state of Karnataka.

The unique pen with violet ink was founded following the so-called “ink controversy” that exploded in Haryana after 12 votes cast with markings in the incorrect ink were announced invalid.

In 2016, the Election Commission, which has the decree to conduct elections for the Rajya Sabha, declared that a uniquely made violet sketch pen will be presented to voters for the polls.

Those 12 votes were of Congress legislators and directed to the defeat of a party-backed independent competitor and lawyer RK Anand, who lost to Subhash Chandra, supported by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Two more votes were said invalid as the ballot was unmarked in one and Randeep Singh Surjewala’s vote was declined as he showed his vote to another legislator, Kiran Chaudhary.

The progress stoked a political rage and the Congress and the INLD had requested the Election Commission to cancel the election to both Rajya Sabha seats. Later a working group of senior officials recommended ways to stop a repeat of the ink failure in future Rajya Sabha polls, the Election Commission declared it compulsory for all voters to utilize only the pen given by polling officials. Votes identified in any other colour are considered invalid.

Indian National Lok Dal (INLD)

Since then the Election Commission provides the pens with violet ink, and these are held inside polling booths, and voters are not permitted to remove them.

3 People stabbed to death in the English town of Reading. Is this incident a crime or terrorist assault?

3 People stabbed to death in the English town of Reading. Is this incident a crime or terrorist assault?

A stabbing occurrence in the English town of Reading that killed three people on Saturday is not being investigated as a terrorist assault, the Thames Valley Police stated.

"This is not currently being treated as a terrorism incident, however officers are keeping an open mind as to the motivation for the incident and are being supported by colleagues from Counter Terrorism Policing South East," Detective Chief Superintendent Ian Hunter stated.

An earlier record from the PA Media news agency, citing an unnamed source, announced police officers were handling the incident as terror-related. Six people were harmed during the occurrence at Forbury Gardens in Reading's town center. Three people died and three others suffered severe injuries, police stated.

A 25-year-old man from Reading, who was not recognized by authorities, was caught Saturday. Police stated the man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of crime and authorities are not hunting for other suspects. "There is no intelligence to suggest that there is any further danger to the public, however, we urge people to remain vigilant and report anything suspicious by calling police," Hunter stated.

Police officers requested members of the public not to post photographs or videos of the occurrence on social media, but rather to report these to the police. Police also stated there was no evidence the occurrence was linked to a Black Lives Matter protest that took place in Reading on Saturday.

At least two people suffering from wounds were being treated at the nearby Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading following the incident Saturday, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

The South Central Ambulance Service established it reacted to the incident to treat "a number of casualties who had sustained injuries as a result of the incident." One eyewitness provided a report to PA Media, describing a man who yelled before stabbing people.

"My thoughts are with all of those affected by the appalling incident in Reading and my thanks to the emergency services on the scene," British Prime Minister Boris Johnson wrote on Twitter.

Tremendous Saharan dust plume was observed in NASA Astronaut's photo from Space

Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken

A NASA astronaut has provided the world a beautiful impression of Earth, as observed from space. Colonel Doug Hurley, who is currently onboard the International Space Station, shared a photo of a Saharan dust plume spreading over the Atlantic Ocean a few hours ago.

An immense Saharan Dust Plume has been recognized From Space in NASA Astronaut's photograph. According to CNN, the Saharan dust plume is advancing its way across the Atlantic from Africa to the U.S. The dust, direct from the Sahara Desert, is so dense that it is noticeable from space as grey clouds developing over blue water. "We flew over this Saharan dust plume today in the west-central Atlantic. Amazing how large an area it covers!" wrote astronaut Doug Hurley while illustrating the extensive size of the plume.

In the little over 13 hours after the photo was shared on the microblogging platform, it has received over 22,000 'likes' and hundreds of comments. The swath of dust is being moved across the planet by east-to-west Trade Winds."Large plumes of Saharan dust routinely track into the Atlantic Ocean from late spring into early fall. Every so often, when the dust plume is large enough and trade winds set up just right, the dust can travel thousands of miles across the Atlantic and into the US." CNN Meteorologist Haley Brink stated.

Doug Hurley is one of the two astronauts who went to space at the beginning of this month in a historic flight. Mr. Hurley and Robert Behnken entered the International Space Station on June 1 after a landmark 19-hour trip on SpaceX's two-stage Falcon 9 rocket.

A meteorite-like object has fallen from the sky in Rajasthan with a huge explosion, the locals are upset
A meteorite-like object had fallen from the sky in Rajasthan. The blast sound heard 2-km away.

The object will be handed over to the Geological Survey of India for analysis. The meteorite-like object fallen from the sky in Rajasthan's Sanchore town has left the locals disturbed. Officials established to IANS that an object measuring around 2.78 kg fell from the sky on Friday morning, ending in a one-foot deep crater in the earth.

A tremendous blast kind of sound produced by its fall reverberated in around two-kilometre range. The locals hurried to the police station and the local administration to inform them of an explosive noise. Sub Divisional Magistrate Bhupendra Yadav approached the point and was astonished to see the object which was very hot during that time. As the object was releasing heat, it was left to chill and then packed in a container and carried to the police station.

The officials concerned also got it examined in a private lab resided at the jeweller's shop in Sanchore who established that the object had metallic properties of Germanium, Platinium, Nickel and Iron (10.23 percent of nickel, 85.86 percent of iron, platinum 0.5 percent, cobbit 0.78 percent, geranium 0.02 percent, antimony 0.01 percent niobium 0.01 and other 3.02 percent).

The crews of geologists in the Geographical Survey of India's Ahmedabad and Jaipur office have been contacted for additional analysis. The object is currently at Sanchore police station, stated Yadav adding that the area where it had fallen has been sealed off.

Will this Solar Eclipse destroy the Coronavirus? Here's Everything the Science says about this eclipse.

Will this Solar Eclipse destroy the Coronavirus? Here's Everything the Science says about this eclipse

The scientists who came up with the word 'coronavirus' in 1986 discovered that under a microscope, the virus they were studying at resembled a solar corona: the shiny crown-like ring of gasses circling the sun that is noticeable during a solar eclipse. On June 21st, Sunday, India will observe the Annular Solar Eclipse. This special eclipse is supposed to be the 'deepest' annular solar eclipse in nearly a hundred years.

On Sunday, people from various parts of the world will be able to observe the beauty of what is generally signified as the 'Ring of Fire'. The Annular Solar Eclipse June 2020 is expected to appear for about 30 seconds, comparable to a necklace of pearls.

A solar eclipse takes place when the moon passes between the sun and earth, blocking the sun’s light. In an annular solar eclipse, the moon completely or partially covers the sun from when observed from earth.

Dr. KL Sundar Krishna, a Nuclear and Earth scientist reported ANI that the pandemic may have been a result of mutated particle interaction of the first neutron emitted after the solar eclipse owing to fission energy. He stated that there is a "planetary configuration with new alignment in the solar system" which happened after the solar eclipse. And that is even the coronavirus outbreak occurred, according to Krishna.

He reported ANI that the virus has arrived from the upper atmosphere where "inter-planetary force variation" took place. The said neutrons then started nucleating which further resulted in bio-nuclear interactions in the upper atmosphere. This bio-nuclear interaction, according to him, possibly a cause of the virus.

There had been a critical discussion over time that the weather can eliminate coronavirus. While it's a myth which has been exposed by the WHO, solar corona, could destroy coronavirus - they're very hot they're some hundred times hotter than the surface of the Sun. But the only viable way for this solar corona to hit the coronavirus on earth would be if they came in contact - which they won't because the sun is over 152.02 million kilometres.

Wearing masks, and following good personal hygiene, not touching your face often, as well as restricting touch with other people stops transmission of the virus. The solar eclipse won't destroy coronavirus - that's entirely in your hands.

Intelligence agencies urge Indians to stop the use of 52 mobile apps of China. Is it safe to use these apps?

The National Security Council Secretariat has supported the recommendation to stop or discourage the usage of 52 mobile apps. The list of apps given by the security establishment to the government includes video conferencing app Zoom, short-video app TikTok, and other use and content apps such as UC Browser, Xender, SHAREit, and Clean-master, etc. An elder government official announced the recommendation of the intelligence agencies had recently been supported by the National Security Council Secretariat, which thought these could be harmful to India’s security.

“The discussions on the recommendations are continuing,” stated an official, explaining that the parameters and the hazards connected to each mobile app will have to be inspected one by one.

There have been requests for action against mobile apps that are noted to be compromising security from time to time. And companies such as the hugely-popular video-sharing app TikTok - owned and managed by Chinese internet company ByteDance - have published denials.

But officials said there was information that many Android and IOS apps, either developed by Chinese developers or launched by companies with Chinese connections, had the potential to be utilized as spyware or other malicious ware. There have been records that security agencies had warned security personnel from using them in view of the “detrimental impact that this could have on data security”.

Such attentions about backdoors in China-linked hardware or software have been often explained by western security agencies too. One discussion has been that China could use its access to corrupt communications services in case of battles.

Two Indian high commission officials were reported missing in Pakistan according to sources

Two Indian High Commission officials have been missing from Islamabad, Pakistan, since Monday morning, according to sources. The officials were gone out for an official task before they disappeared. The Indian government has brought up the subject with Pakistan's government authorities.

Following the expulsion of Pakistan officials, the Indian representatives were expecting a complementary response from Islamabad. The Indian high commission is noticing it hard to continue normal functioning, faced as Indian representatives and consular officials are with incessant and vigorous tailing and surveillance.

The latest event comes weeks after the vehicle of India's Charge d'affaires Gaurav Ahluwalia was pursued by Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) members.

In March, the Indian High Commission in Pakistan sent a strong protest note to the foreign ministry in Islamabad opposing against the ongoing harassment of its officers and staffs by Pakistani agencies.

According to the note, India cited 13 cases of harassment in March itself and asked Pakistan to halt such incidents and investigate the matter. India had requested Pakistani authorities to "investigate these incidents urgently and instruct the relevant agencies to ensure that similar incidents do not recur".

The government has communicated to Pakistan that the behaviour of its agencies disrupted the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, 1961, and also the bilateral 1992 Code of Conduct which the 2 nations signed to afford diplomats immunity from hostilities in ties.

Nepal renews its map: Has Nepal entered in the race of taking the lands of India?

Nepal renews its map: Has Nepal entered in the race of taking the lands of India?

Map of Nepal

Nepal’s House of Representatives on Saturday unanimously announced a Constitutional amendment updating the map on its coat of arms to add three areas of Kalapani, Lipulekh, and Limpiyadhura that India later in the evening declared were part of its region.

The die for a change in the Constitution was cast about 10 days ago when Nepal’s Lower House unanimously passed a decision to change the map on its coat of arms. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) here accused Nepal of breaking the “current understanding” to hold discussions on outstanding border issues. “We have already made our position clear on this matter. This artificial enlargement of claims is not based on historical fact or evidence and is not tenable,” stated MEA spokesperson Anurag Srivastava.

Nepal’s map change was in reply to two Indian moves over eight months. In early November, India issued a new political map. Its central intention was to reflect the new reality of the former state of J&K split into two Union Territories, but it also combined Kalapani, Lipulekh, and Limpiyadhura. On May 8, the debate was re-stoked when Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated a road from Dharchula in Uttarakhand to the controversial spot of Lipulekh.

Darchula (Marked in red)

This set in motion a political process that has commenced to changes in Nepal’s political map and while Nepal’s PM and Foreign Ministry openly requested India to hold discussions, particularly at the level of foreign secretaries, it was on Saturday that the MEA looked to hint that it had made an offer for talks. The amendment in the Lower House hung in balance as the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) was 10 seats short of the needed two-thirds majority.

Nepal government has also entered in the race of taking the lands of India like the latters. Nitin Gadkari has earlier mentioned that India doesn't need the land of Pakistan and China and it is also to be recorded that India is concentrating on the army in the Ladakh region.

Many lost their lives, more than 100 injured after truck blasts on China highway
A truck carrying liquefied gas exploded on Saturday evening on the Shenyang-Haikou Expressway south of Shanghai.

A tanker truck exploded on a highway in southeastern China on Saturday, killing 18 people and harming at least 189 others, authorities stated. The blast created a huge loss to nearby buildings. An image showed firefighters hosing down a line of buildings with blown-out facades well into the night.

The truck exploded around 4:45 pm on the Shenyang-Haikou Expressway southern of Shanghai in Zhejiang province, the official Xinhua News Agency stated, referring local authorities. Another explosion happened when the truck fell onto a factory workshop, Xinhua stated.

The Wenling city government information office announced on its social media account that houses and workshops collapsed and 189 people were treated at six hospitals. A worker at a nearby restaurant said Xinhua that the explosion smashed the windows of her home, but that her mother and brother were uninjured.

The cause of the tragedy is under investigation, media stated. The government commission accountable for safety production summoned for the investigation be accomplished within a certain time, state media informed, without defining the period. The report said the commission called for traffic police to step up law enforcement concentrating on vehicles such as those carrying dangerous chemicals.

Donald Trump announces he will "do other things" if he fails the 2020 US presidential election.

Donald Trump announces he will "do other things" if he fails the 2020 US presidential election

As the clash between Donald Trump and Joe Biden burns up ahead of the 2020 US presidential election, the two have increasingly stated that the opposite contestant thinks to cheat their way to success.

US President Donald Trump spoke in a roundtable discussion with members of the faith community, law enforcement, and small business at Gateway Church Dallas Campus in Dallas, Texas, US. US President Donald Trump announced he will proceed on to other things if he loses the November 3 election, after Democratic opponent Joe Biden told the Republican might cheat and ignore to leave the White House.

"Certainly if I don’t win, I don’t win. I mean, you know, go on and do other things," Trump said Fox News Channel in a television interview telecasted on Friday. As the clash between Trump and Biden burns up ahead of the election, the two have increasingly stated that the opposite side thinks to cheat their way to success.

Biden, who is leading Trump in most national polls, earlier this week declared his biggest concern was that Trump would seek to “steal” the election, though the former vice president did not elaborate on how he thought Trump might cheat. Biden announced he is sure soldiers would escort Trump from the White House if he fails and does not recognize the outcome.

Trump’s comment to Fox News hinted he could admit the election outcome but the president did not specifically say so. Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh on Thursday announced Trump would accept the outcome. Trump has blamed Democrats of aiming to use an increase in mail-in voting as a venue for rigging the election, while Biden has vowed to use lawyers to polling stations across the nation to look out for Republican attempts to defeat the vote. Election experts and officials are bracing for a potentially tumultuous election night.

A surge in mail-in balloting is expected due to concerns over the coronavirus pandemic, and experts recommend the process could be damaged by the chaos of the type previously noticed in primary elections conducted in states when the viral outbreak.

Huge numbers of mail ballots could not be delivered in time to be cast or count could lead to legal challenges over election outcomes. Counting mail ballots also takes more time because a voter’s identification must first be verified, raising the possibility that the election result will not be known well past Election Day, experts speak.

Pakistan PM Imran Khan is ready to share a cash transfer scheme to deal with COVID-19 in India. Has India accepted this?

 Imran Khan (PM of Pakistan)

Pakistan Prime minister Imran Khan announced he is ready to share a cash transfer scheme with India, citing a report which stated that 34 percent of Indian households will not be able to persist for more than a week without support.

Imran Khan presented this announcement after tweeting a report which claimed that due to rising cases of COVID-19 in India approximately 84 percent of Indian households were reporting reductions in income since the lockdown.

“Our govt successfully transferred Rs. 120 billion in 9 weeks to over 10 million families in a transparent manner to deal with the COVID-19 fallout on the poor,” Imran Khan tweeted.

Earlier, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had also batted for cash transfer stating the money should be put straight in the pockets of the people. He also continued that ‘Nyay’ could be executed for a short period to help the people in trouble.

Rahul presented this statement after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman declared three tranches of the relief package after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced Rs 20 lakh crore package.

As of now the size of India's Economy has become $2088 billion which held it as the 7th largest economy in the entire world. On the other hand, the size of Pakistan's economy is about $273 billion. So, India's GDP is almost 7 times greater than Pakistan's economy. But when it comes to the population the greater population in India makes it challenging in the efficient transfer of cash and as India is being termed a subcontinent, it has a lot of diverse landmasses which is also a major concern.

"While there's still a lot of unanswered questions about the PS5, namely price and release date, I think Sony did exactly what they needed to with this reveal event," stated Laura Kate Dale, a freelance games critic. "It showed off an hour of games, mixing sequels to popular titles, and new franchises from its biggest first-party studios, for a solid hour".

So many people stated that the console seemed like a "wi-fi router", that the term trended on Twitter immediately after the event. "People on Twitter are very split on whether they like or hate the look of the box, but overall Sony spent an hour getting people excited."

More than two dozen new games were shown off in total. The first look at Sony's racing game Grand Turismo 7 and a concise look at Capcom's zombie horror game Resident Evil 8 has also been presented on the video.

The PlayStation 5 is set to go on sale later this year, seven years after the PS4. In bonus to being able to fulfill improved visuals, the new machine also has a customised hard drive that will make it probable to completely decrease load times.

Sony opted to stream a pre-recorded video rather than host a live event because of the coronavirus pandemic. The video was broadcasted at 1080p resolution, much lower than the PS5 is capable of. The PS4 surpassed Microsoft's Xbox One globally by more than a 2:1 margin, although the gap was much closer in the US.

The industry insider stated there were two things he was most excited about."The first is the new controller - the adaptive triggers offer deeper and more meaningful feedback for gameplay," described Robert Karp, development director at UK developer Codemasters. The new Spider-Man game represents a follow-up to 2018's action-adventure game based on the Marvel superhero. But this time around the lead is the Afro-Latino youngster Miles Morales rather than Peter Parker. The short trailer revealed him fighting and web-slinging through New York, revealing off snow and electricity particle effects that would not have been possible in such detail on the PS4.

CBIC elucidates: Salaries paid to company directors not to attract GST.

CBIC elucidates: Salaries paid to company directors not to attract GST
The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on Wednesday announced GST will not be levied on salaries paid to directors who are employees of the company. The CBIC published a clarification following a ruling by the Rajasthan Authority of Advance Ruling (AAR) in April that declared companies will have to pay GST on the payment they dole out to directors.

"The part of director's remuneration that are declared as 'salaries' in the books of a company and subjected to TDS under Section 192 of the IT Act, are not taxable being consideration for services by an employee to the employer in the course of or in relation to his employment in terms of Schedule III of the CGST Act, 2017," the CBIC stated.

However, where the directors' payment is like professional payments and not salary, GST will be levied on a backward charge basis.

"The part of employee director's remuneration which is declared separately other than 'salaries' in the company's accounts and subjected to TDS under Section 194J of the IT Act as 'fees' for professional or technical services shall be treated as consideration for providing services which are outside the scope of Schedule III of the CGST Act, and is, therefore, taxable...the recipient of the said services, i.e. the company, is liable to discharge the applicable GST on it on a reverse charge basis," the CBIC stated.

Concerning individualistic directors who are not the employees of the said company, the CBIC said services provided by them to the company in lieu of remuneration as the consideration for the said services will pull goods and services tax (GST).

"The recipient of the said services, i.e. the company, is liable to discharge the applicable GST on it on a reverse charge basis," it continued.

AMRG & Associates Senior Partner Rajat Mohan told this explanation from CBIC would save a tax of 18 percent on the remuneration given to executive directors of the company.

"Tax officers would be pushed to roll back tax notices issued in relation to taxation of director salary on account of divergent views expressed by advance ruling authorities," Mohan attached.

Abhishek Jain, tax partner, EY, stated, "With the clarification linking income tax and GST, businesses would need to now evaluate comprehensively treatment of remuneration of directors under income tax, GST and accounting."

ED seizes over 2,300 kg of diamonds and pearls belonging to Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi. Is Nirav Modi prisoned?

ED seizes over 2,300 kg of diamonds and pearls belonging to Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi. Is Nirav Modi prisoned?

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday recovered over 2,300 kg of polished diamonds and pearls worth Rs 1,350 crore of firms belonging to Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi from Hong Kong, the agency announced.

Out of the 108 consignments that arrived at Mumbai, 32 belong to overseas entities in the UAE and Hong Kong "controlled" by Nirav Modi while the rest are of Mehul Choksi firms, it said in a declaration. The ED performed "all legal formalities" with authorities in Hong Kong to bring back these valuables, the agency stated. These valuables, officials announced, were transferred to Hong Kong from Dubai in early 2018 so that they could be preserved from being seized or attached by the ED or any other investigating agency.

The ED got intelligence inputs on this movement in July that year and since then the sleuths were on its path. These valuables were stored in the godown of a logistics company in Hong Kong, the central probe agency told. "The officers were continuously engaged in discussion with various authorities in Hong Kong to bring these valuables back to India. Various modalities were finalised and after completing all the legal formalities these consignments have now been brought back to India," it stated, adding they will be formally seized under the PMLA.

This is another such work on this case as ED had earlier brought back 33 consignments of valuables from Dubai and Hong Kong. They were priced at Rs 137 crore then, the ED announced. On June 8, a special PMLA court in Mumbai had allowed the confiscation of the seized assets of Nirav Modi, the key accused in this case, under the Fugitive Economic Offenders Act (FEOA).

This was the first such order in the country after the Fugitive Economic Offenders Act was enacted two years ago. Nirav Modi (49), currently lodged in a UK jail, was announced a fugitive economic offender in December by the Mumbai court. He was arrested in London in March 2019 and is presently struggling extradition to India.

His uncle Mehul Choksi has been dodging the law since the inquiry into this case began and was last declared to be residing in Antigua and Barbuda from where the Indian government is seeking his extradition, the probe agencies have announced.

Is Pakistan scared as India is rising into a superpower?

Is Pakistan scared as India is rising into a superpower?

Imran Khan (PM of Pakistan)

There is a possibility of a core problem happening if India becomes a great economic superpower and Pakistan remains a bankrupt nuclear power, then the entire operation of breaking India to make a nation for the ‘pure’ could become meaningless.

Some years ago when relationships with Pakistan were in a good period, the Indian cricket team went on tour to the Islamic Republic. When they played in Lahore, many Indian cricket fans passed the border to lend the team support. The Indian economy in those times was exploding with animal spirits. So among these fans were Indian industrialists who dropped in private jets.

A Pakistani friend stated later that it was when they saw those private planes arrive that they first understood how far ahead of Pakistan the Indian economy had reached. It was great to see, she continued, that it was not just Arab billionaires who were having all the pleasure. But, I knew from the way she spoke this that most maximum Pakistanis were not nice about this.

Narendra Modi (PM of India)

As someone who knows Pakistan well, I discovered long ago that nothing scares Pakistanis more than the probability that India could win and Pakistan fail. It may seem from Imran Khan’s recent rantings about the ‘fascist, Hindu Supremacist Modi government’ that it is Kashmir that Pakistanis consider more than anything. This is not correct. Kashmir is not the ‘core problem’ among India and Pakistan as military men and jihadists next door like to say.

India is now more powerful economically, but we would have been much, much more powerful if we had not returned to economic policies that try to redistribute wealth without first creating it.

The last bilateral series played between India and Pakistan was on 2012, which was held in India.

Is Trump preparing to commence the campaign rallies again after coronavirus pandemic?

Is Trump preparing to commence the campaign rallies again after coronavirus pandemic?

U.S. President Donald Trump prepares to begin his campaign rallies again in the subsequent two weeks, a Trump campaign official declared on Monday, ending a three-month pause brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump, who grows on the energy from packed arenas, has not held a rally since March 2 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and aides portray him as chomping at the moment to get out and commence campaigning again ahead of the U.S. presidential election which is going to take place on November 3.

It was unclear exactly when or where Trump’s first rally will be and the official, confirming a report in Politico, said safety rules for attendees were still being worked out. Campaign manager Brad Parscale is to grant the president with some options in the next few days. In a declaration, Parscale predicted Trump's rallies will surpass those of Democrat Joe Biden, who's campaigning has also been diminished due to the virus.

Joe Biden (Former Vice President of the United States )

The Republican party's nominating convention has also been affected by the pandemic, with current public health rules barring Trump from presenting his acceptance speech before a full house of delegates and followers in Charlotte, North Carolina as originally prepared.

On Monday, a separate campaign adviser declared the president and the Republican National Committee were leaning toward moving Trump's speech to Jacksonville, Florida, where they expect to be allowed to gather in enormous numbers. Both the campaign official and adviser spoke on the situation of anonymity.

AMD's SmartShift to boost Sony's gaming consoles. Will there be any other devices with this tech? Is AMD the best?

AMD's SmartShift to boost Sony's gaming consoles. Will there be any other devices with this tech? Is AMD the best?

As PC World reports, according to Frank Azor, Chief Architect of Gaming Solutions at AMD, we won’t notice any more SmartShift portables till 2021, when there should be more options for purchasing these machines than just the one model from Dell.

SmartShift tech was first announced by AMD at CES back at the start of the year, alongside Ryzen 4000 mobile chips. SmartShift essentially lets the system to shift power dynamically between the CPU and GPU, although both must be AMD models for it to operate.

This happens coherently, in the background, and it means that when a particular game is running and needs more oomph from the GPU, SmartShift can deliver just that, and better frame-rates (up to a 14% boost in certain games, AMD claims). Similarly, with CPU intensive tasks, the power can be shifted to the processor.

AMD’s SmartShift tech, which increases performance in laptops with AMD processors and GPUs, might be in the freshly released Dell G5 15 SE gaming portable, but it won’t be in any other notebooks this year. AMD’s SmartShift tech for faster frame-rates won’t be in any more laptops until 2021 (but will boost PS5).
It seems like a very sound idea, then, and the Dell G5 15 SE has got some positive enough reviews thus far – but sadly we won’t get a very clear picture of how SmartShift could pan out from just one machine.

Azor moreover noted that a lot of notebook producers were amazed at the heavy performance boost delivered by Ryzen 4000 mobile chips, so didn’t commit early on – but are now doing so with much more interest. There will be more machines running with an all AMD setup – CPU and GPU – next year, hence being able to benefit from SmartShift.

One fascinating factor, however, is that both of the next-gen consoles from Microsoft and Sony pair AMD CPUs and GPUs, and Sony has already established that the PS5 will use SmartShift to help get the most from its components. So we will see another SmartShift-toting machine this year, but it won’t be a laptop, it’ll be the PS5 – and probably also the Xbox Series X.

A tremendous security violation recognized in India: Same IMEI number operating on 13,557 Vivo phones.

A tremendous security violation recognized in India: Same IMEI number operating on 13,557 Vivo phones

The Cyber cell of Meerut police has exposed a shocking breach of security administered by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo.

An FIR has been filed against the Vivo communications and its service centres as more than 13000 Vivo smartphones are operating on a single IMEI number.

As per statements, sub-inspector Asharam, who is posted in the office of Additional Director General of Police, Meerut, owns a Vivo Smartphone. When the screen of the mobile cracked, he presented it for servicing at the Vivo service centre on Delhi road in Meerut on 24 September 2019. The service centre returned him his mobile phone back with a new screen, battery, and the FM. After a few days, an error started appearing on the screen.

ADG Prashant Kumar charged the investigation to Cybercrime cell-in charge of Meerut zone police, Prabal Kumar Pankaj, and cyber expert Vijay Kumar. As the phone was not running well despite being serviced, he doubted foul play and presented the phone to cyber cell, which later revealed the huge security matter.

On January 16, the manager of the service centre answered that IMEI has not changed. Since the mobile had a sim of the Jio company, the Cyber cell transferred the supposed IMEI to the telecom company and requested for the data. The report caused an atomic revelation that on 24 September 2019 from 11 am to 11:30 am, the same IMEI number was working on 13557 mobile phones in various states of the country.

The cyber cell addressed a notice to Harmanjit Singh, the nodal officer of Vivo India under Section 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code. However, the Police were not content with the reply to the notice. The officials of the company were also unaware that according to the rules of TRAI an IMEI should not be active on more than one mobile number.

The cyber cell has declared that the mobile phone company is grossly careless in this subject and violated the rules of TRAI. According to ADG Rajiv Sabarwal, several years ago when Chinese phones were introduced, then the IMEI number used to be the one.

These were a treat in terms of security, so the Indian government barred all the numbers. After this, the rules of TRAI arrived in authority. Under this, an IMEI can be assigned to only one mobile phone. ADG Sabarwal stated that the inquiry is initiated after it was declared that several thousand mobiles are running on a single IMEI number. It is a destruction of rules and this can be risky in terms of security.

If someday a crime has been done through a mobile phone with a similar IMEI number, then it won’t be probable to detect the accused. IMEI or International Mobile Equipment Identity is a unique 15 digit number which is compulsory for any mobile device having SIM cards.

This number helps in distinguishing a particular mobile device connected to a network. Security agencies can track phones utilizing this number, and stolen phones can be hunted and barred.

Remdesivir to the rescue: First human examination of possible coronavirus antibody treatment commences in India.

Remdesivir to the rescue: First human examination of possible coronavirus antibody treatment commences in India

The Indian government has allowed Gilead Sciences Inc’s antiviral drug remdesivir for emergency treatment for five doses in handling Covid-19 victims. As the number of coronavirus cases is exceeding beyond the 6 million-mark globally, scientists and experts are pacing up the struggle to succeed at the potential vaccine for Covid-19.

As a stepping stone in India’s battle in facing Covid-19, New Delhi has allowed Gilead Sciences Inc’s antiviral drug remdesivir for emergency treatment for five doses in handling Covid-19 victims.

Remdesivir, which is managed intravenously in hospital, is the first drug to display improvement in Covid-19 victims in formal clinical trials and is at the lead of the struggle against Covid-19, which has no approved treatment or vaccine. The drug was allowed emergency utility authorization by the US Food and Drug Administration last month and has obtained approval by Japanese health regulators.

Besides the US and India, South Korea has also approved the emergency application of Gilead Sciences Inc’s remdesivir to treat Covid-19. Earlier this week, Gilead announced remdesivir displayed moderate benefit in victims with moderate Covid-19 given a five-day course, while those who took it for 10 days in the study did not prove as well. A senior US Army vaccine researcher told it was right to expect that some kind of coronavirus vaccine could be available to part of the US population by the end of 2020, news agency Reuters announced.

Chairman of Swiss multinational chemicals and biotechnology company, Lonza, announced the group aims to pace up completion of two commercial production lines for Moderna Inc’s trial Covid-19 vaccine.

The first results from the world’s biggest randomised test of drugs to heal Covid-19 patients could be prepared in early July, one of the scientists leading the UK-based study called Recovery stated on Tuesday.

American pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly and Company declared the first human trial of its Covid-19 drug. According to the Indianapolis-based drug-making firm, the drug agent has been extracted from the blood specimen of an early US Covid-19 victim who successfully recovered from the fatal virus.
