Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not in good mindset on what is continuing with China, states US President Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump

The American President Trump executed the startling claim on Thursday while reiterating his offer to mediate between India and China on what he called a "big conflict" continuing between the two nations.

Now Trump has exposed that what he told to the Indian prime minister Narendra Modi during the phone call. He said "I can tell you; I did speak to Prime Minister Modi. He is not in a good mood about what is going on with China," the US President announced during an interaction in the White House. India and China have a big conflict. Two countries with 1.4 billion people (each). Two countries with very powerful militaries. India is not happy and probably China is not happy," the president said when questioned if he was worried about the border situation between India and China.

He added: "They like me in India. I think they like me in India more than the media likes me in this country. And, I like Modi. I like your prime minister a lot. He is a great gentleman."

The US President's mediation offers a day earlier was followed by a meticulously crafted response from New Delhi on Thursday. "India is engaged with the Chinese side to peacefully resolve it," Anurag Srivastava, a spokesperson of the foreign ministry, informed reporters when questioned about Trump's offer.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Moments after US President Donald Trump said he had spoken to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and "he is not in a good mood on what is going on in China", top government sources denied the claim, stating that there had been no recent communication between the two leaders. "There has been no recent contact between PM Modi and US President Trump. The last conversation between them was on 4 April 2020, on the subject of Hydroxychloroquine," said sources. "Yesterday, the Ministry of External Affairs had also made it clear that we're directly in touch with China through established mechanisms and diplomatic contacts," they said.

Bombardment halted In Pulwama. 40-45 kg IED found in a car, states security units

Improvised Explosive Device (IED).

Security units have once again proven that they are serving day and night to defend the citizens as they stopped a massive car bomb attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama on Wednesday night.

Based on intelligence data, a white Hyundai Santro car with a false registration number was signalled to stop at a checkpoint on Wednesday night. Security units obstructed a vehicle carrying 40-45 kg of improvised explosive device (IED).

"The security forces opened fire. The driver managed to escape, leaving behind the car laden with IED," Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said. "The terrorist intended to target vehicles of security forces. We are calling expert teams from outside. We suspect that the vehicle was carrying 40-45 kg of explosives," news agency ANI reported quoted Mr. Kumar.

He stated the driver is suspected to be a Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist, who is also in contact with Jaish-e-Mohammed that was involved in last year's suicide attack on the CRPF convoy. The car, with the IED, was later demolished by a bomb clearance squad. The extensive bang damaged numerous residences in the region.

"It was kept under watch for the night. People in nearby houses were evacuated and the vehicle was destroyed on-site by the bomb disposal squad as moving it would have been a serious threat," Director General of Police Dilbag Singh stated.

Later the terror assault in the same district on February 14 which killed 40 CPRF soldiers last year, India blasted a campsite of the terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed deep inside Pakistan.

An air battle also followed between Indian and Pakistani fighter jets. In the last two months, there has been a gush in terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir; 30 security units staff including officers have spent their lives. Throughout this period, 38 terrorists have also been executed by security units.

Riyaz Naikoo, one of Kashmir's most wanted terrorists and the commander of terror organization Hizbul Mujahideen, was killed in a clash in Pulwama earlier this month. Terrorists had planted the IED(explosive) inside a blue drum which was brought in the car.

"Murder hornets" have been reported for the first time in the US, scientists are now on a raid.

"Murder hornets" have been reported for the first time in the US, scientists are now on a raid

 Asian giant hornet (Vespa mandarinia)

In a year where everyone minds to get freed from the COVID-19 pandemic, for the first time in America the murder hornets have arrived.

The 2-inch (5cm) long Asian giant hornets (Vespa mandarinia) have been seen in Washington state. Multiple stings are dangerous to humans and in their "slaughter phase," the hornets kill honeybees, whose bodies they feed to their young. Scientists are now on a raid for the hornets, expecting to destroy the species before they wipe out US bees.

Although they typically avoid people, in Asia. Scientists also informed that "murder hornet" stings are estimated to cause as many as 50 human fatalities a year, according to the New York Times. The Hornets initiated their first North American appearance in August 2019, in British Columbia, Canada. Months later, in December 2019, the flying insects were recorded south of the border in Washington state.

However the appearance of the hornets has been a question mark to the scientists, several beekeepers have complained about the frightful hive deaths in recent months.

 Asian giant hornet (Vespa mandarinia)

With their sharp, spiked mandibles, the hornets execute honeybees, utilizing the bodies to nurture their young. The hornets can ruin a honeybee hive in some hours.

Communities of honeybees and other pollinators in the US were already under pressure. Within 1947 and 2017, the number of honeybee hives in the US descended from 6 million to 2.5 million. And last year, researchers from the University of Maryland stated that 40% of the country's honeybee hives died in a single winter, between October 2018 and April 2019 - the greatest loss of its variety.

Pollinators, most often honeybees, are accountable for one of every three bites of food used in the US, and develop the country's nation crop values every year by more than $15bn (£12bn), according to the US Department of Agriculture. "It was like having red-hot thumbtacks being driven into my flesh," Vancouver Island beekeeper Conrad Bérubé reported the New York Times. He was stung through a bee suit and sweatpants underneath.

China is ready for war amid coronavirus pandemic, says Xi Jinping.

China is ready for war amid coronavirus pandemic, says Xi Jinping

Xi Jinping

One more difficulty has been added to the government of India as the Chinese government has started expanding its army troops in the disputed border region.

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday ordered China’s armed forces to strengthen the number of troops along the 3,488km of the disputed national border and to be ready for war amid coronavirus pandemic. Two days back, China’s top diplomat Wang Yi, heavily criticised the works of some US politicians to build rumours and sentence China to charge it for the pandemic.

Both armies are said to have expanded further troops in sensitive regions along the border with specialists predicting a long standoff.

Xi Jinping said that the armed troops should explore new ways of training, despite the pandemic. Xi Jinping also said to the state media that this epidemic prevention and control struggle is a practical examination for national defence and military reform, fully embodies the effectiveness of the reform, and also puts forward new demands for reform.

Zhao Ligian, Chinese military spokesperson said clearly on Tuesday that a fair and constant improvement in the nation’s defence expenditure is correct, fit, and important.

It was stated last week that China has set its yearly defence budget increase target at 6.6%, as compared to 7.5% last year. China has both economic and military expansion in mind and national defence should be improved in coordination with economic development, said Wu Qian, PLA spokesperson. Wu also attached that Beijing’s homeland protection and overseas interests are also facing some original threats.

While the coronavirus pandemic is becoming containable, an additional problem has been established which may lead to famine.

While the coronavirus pandemic is becoming containable, an additional problem has been established which may lead to famine

Desert Locust

As soon as the coronavirus pandemic is becoming containable, an additional problem has been raised by a swamp of locusts in the north-western states of India.

The present locust outbreak has been termed as the most serious the nation has suffered in over two decades. The officials also calculated that this may risk the food security of the country as this may damage the crops.

Locusts are one of the oldest migratory pests in the world. They vary from common grasshoppers in their ability to change habits and form swarms that can move over great distances, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. Of all its species, the Desert Locust (the ones attacking India) is the most deadly and can form dense swarms in response to environmental stimuli. During a plague, it can easily affect 20 percent of the Earth's land, more than 65 of the world's poorest countries, and destroy the livelihood of one-tenth of the world's population.

"They are ravenous eaters who consume food equal to their body weight per day, targeting food crops and forage. A single square kilometre of the swarm can contain up to 80 million adults, with the capacity to consume the same amount of food in one day as 35,000 people. Large swarms pose a major threat to food security and rural livelihoods,” the FAO website says adding that a swarm with a  size of Bamako, Niamey or Paris will eat the same quantity of food in a single day as half the population of Mali, Niger, and France, respectively.

Locusts in India are commonly seen between July and October. However, their unexpected arrival this year has increased concerns. Originally found in West Asia, a Desert Locust survives for about 90 days. It takes up to 15 days for the eggs to hatch and they become adults after 6 weeks. Adults need a month to develop and be ready to lay eggs.

Desert locusts can travel up to 150km per day. If the size has not been decreased this may lead to a very large population of desert locusts within three to four months which may lead to global famine.

Advantageous climatic circumstances such as more extended monsoon and cyclonic storms in the northern Indian Ocean provided widespread breeding of the locusts in East Africa, Southwest Asia, and the region around the Red Sea responsible for the current outbreak.

China's arrangement to evacuate its residents from India is seen as a critical affair.

China's arrangement to evacuate its residents from India is seen as a critical affair

China is planning to evacuate Chinese citizens, including students, businessmen, tourists, and other Chinese citizens from India. There have been records that some of them have complained of suffering 'difficulties' in India and want to return home. The Chinese embassy issued a notice regarding this on its website this Monday.

The Chinese embassy has requested those desiring to return home to book tickets on special flights. Coronavirus has infected nearly 1.40 lakh people in India. The coronavirus, which was first noticed in the Chinese city of Wuhan at the beginning of this year, has spread to over 190 nations. It has infected over 54 lakh people and executed more than 3.4 lakh lives.

The main point has to be made that the Indian government evacuated 700 Indians from Wuhan in February. The announcement by the Chinese embassy stated people opting to return home will have to accept all quarantine and epidemic restriction orders. They will have to maintain the rules during flight as well as after entering China.

The declaration has been printed in Mandarin. It stated people treated for coronavirus or having indications of fever for the last 14 days should not take the flights. It advised that people from other nations may also be evacuated.

Pangong Tso region

China's arrangement to evacuate its citizens from India is also seen as a severe matter as their order comes at a time when troops of both the nations are locked in a tense tie in the disputed border regions of Pangong Tso and Galwan Valley along the Line of Actual Control in Eastern Ladakh for over two weeks.

The first COVID-19 vaccine is about to enter the phase 1 clinical experiment, shows emphatic results

The first COVID-19 vaccine is about to enter the phase 1 clinical experiment, shows emphatic results

The first COVID-19 vaccine to enter phase I clinical experiment is secure, well-tolerated, and capable of producing an immune response against the new coronavirus in humans, says new research.

According to the study of 108 grown-ups, the vaccine generated neutralizing antibodies, and a response mediated by the immune system's T-cells against the new coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2. However, scientists, including those from the Beijing Institute of Biotechnology in China told more research is required to confirm whether the vaccine defends humans against SARS-CoV-2 infection.

In the trial, taken out in 108 healthy grown-ups, the vaccine displayed hopeful results after 28 days, with the final results to be evaluated in six months, the study said. "These results represent an important milestone. The trial demonstrates that a single dose of the new adenovirus type 5 vectored COVID-19 (Ad5-nCoV) vaccine generates virus-specific antibodies and T cells in 14 days," said study co-author Wei Chen from the Beijing Institute of Biotechnology.

Based on the results, Chen said the vaccine is a potential candidate for further research. However, the researchers advised that the results should be performed carefully. "The challenges in the development of a COVID-19 vaccine are unprecedented, and the ability to trigger these immune responses does not necessarily indicate that the vaccine will protect humans from COVID-19," Chen described.

After 28 days most members had a four-fold improvement in binding antibodies. The scientists also added that half of the members in the low- and middle-dose groups, and three-quarters of those in the high-dose group displayed neutralizing antibodies against SARS-CoV-2. Citing the main difficulties of the trial, the authors said the study had a small sample size and was handled in a relatively short duration, with a shortage of randomized control group. They said more research will be required before this trial vaccine becomes available to all.

"Our study found the pre-existing Ad5 immunity could slow down the rapid immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 and also lower the peaking level of the responses," said Feng-Cai Zhu from the Jiangsu Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention in China, who guided the research.

Extreme fire breaks out at a chemical plant located in Pune

Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA)
A major fire accident occurred in a chemical factory at Kurkumbh MIDC and positively no one was injured.  The incident came to light after a huge noise was heard in the area. The cops have sealed the area and have blocked certain areas to avoid crowding.

Devendra Potphode, chief fire officer of the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) said, "several fire tenders were rushed to the spot at Kusum Distillation and Refining Private Limited Company to douse the flames".

Flames and smoke, which were seen billowing from the office premises, triggered a panic situation in the region for a while.

The official said that drums containing acetone and ethanol were kept at the plant. As the fire spread, those drums caught fire and then exploded. A blanket of thick black smoke covered the area after the blaze. No one was injured in the incident as the plant was closed. Due to the immediate response of the police, the area has been sealed effectively.
Taking to Twitter, Baramati MP Supriya Sule said: “Kusum Chemicals in Kurkumbh MIDC is on fire. I spoke with Shri. Naval Kishore Ram-Pune District Collector. China increases defence budget.

China increases defence budget

China has announced a huge amount of 179 billion US dollars for its defence.

The government of China has raised the amount from last year by 3 billion US dollars.

China has the world's largest military of two million troops. According to a draft budget report given on Friday by the National People's Congress (NPC), the country's top authority, China will continue to drop its defence budget growth rate to 6.6 percent in 2020.

The 2020 defence budget remains to see single-digit growth for a fifth consecutive year. It is the lowest growth rate in recent years.

The money that China spent last year was only a quarter of the amount spent by the US last year. "China has been submitting reports on its military expenditure to the United Nations every year since 2007" said Zhang Yesui, spokesperson of NPC. He also replied that there is no hidden military spending.

"The Sun has gone into a state called the 'solar minimum' " says NASA.

"The Sun has gone into a state called the 'solar minimum' " says NASA

Sunspots

The sun is said to have gone into a state called the 'solar minimum' and is about to enter the deepest period of 'sunshine recession' as sunspots are virtually not visibly at all. During a rare phenomenon known as solar minimum, the sunspots and solar flare activity decrease and often does not occur for days at a time. Most of us are in lockdown, and now experts believe that the sun has reportedly also gone into one.

Solar minimum is the time of least solar activity in the 11-year solar cycle of the Sun. During this time, sunspot and solar flare activity decline, and often does not occur for days at a time.

Some records suggest that it has been almost 100 days this year when the sun has shown zero sunspots. Solar Minimum is initiated and it is a deep one. The sun’s magnetic field has become weak, allowing extra cosmic rays into the solar system.”Astronomer Dr. Tony Phillips told The Sun.

The Sun flares activity

While extreme activity such as sunspots and solar flares subside during solar minimum, that doesn’t mean the sun becomes faint. Solar activity simply changes form. For instance, says Pesnell, “during solar minimum we can see the development of long-lived coronal holes.”

This may cause health risks to astronauts exploring through space as "the sun’s magnetic field weakens and provides less shielding from these cosmic rays."

But, there is nothing to worry about as such. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) had predicted the sun entering 'solar minimum" back in 2017.

Amphan cyclone is up to make its landfall today. See how this cyclone could make coronavirus outbreak more vigorous to the people who live in coastal regions.

Indian Meteorological Department

Amphan cyclone is causing the governments of India and Bangladesh to evacuate millions of people from the coastal regions as it has been declared by the Indian Meteorological Department as a super cyclone.

It is expected that the amphan cyclone will landfall today with a rate of 185 kmph. India's weather department has predicted that the waves caused could be as high as 10-16 feet (more than 3-5 meters).

20 relief teams have been set active in the coastal regions as it is a major cause of concern during the outbreak of coronavirus.

Amphan cyclone

Officials in Bangladesh fear that it would be the most powerful storm after Cyclone Sidr which killed about 3,500 people in 2007. Bangladesh's disaster management minister has told that they are preparing to evacuate about two million people safely. The evacuated people are suffering without shelters.

This would be the first super cyclonic storm in the Bay of Bengal since 1999 a super cyclone that hit the Orissa coast and killed more than 9,000 people.

The civilians also should be guarded against the pandemic as West Bengal and Bangladesh are one of the most populated regions in the world which in turn could make the spread of virus more severe.

Marvel insider who earlier shared details about Avengers: Endgame exposes how X-Men and Fantastic four crew will join MCU

Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)

A Marvel insider who’d earlier shared detailed information about Avengers: Endgame has perhaps leaked how the X-Men and Fantastic Four could be included in the Marvel Universe.

Ever since Disney’s takeover of 20th Century Fox and its assets (and even before it), fans have thought about how the Fantastic Four and the X-Men could be combined into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The alleged insider wrote on Twitter, “MCU’s Fantastic Four and X-Men will be primarily based on their Earth-1610 counterparts.” He also confirmed that “John Krasinski and Giancarlo Esposito are in talks to imitate the leading roles.

The Twitter account, under the name of Roger Wardell, had earlier accurately revealed details from Endgame such as Thor’s overweight appearance, Captain America’s ‘Hail Hydra’ moment, Stan Lee’s cameo being set in the 1970s, and representations of Robert Redford and Frank Grillo.

X-Men

The new titbit exposes that Marvel is moving forward with the multiverse strategy, which was hinted at in previous films and will be explored in the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

This would tell us why there have been no remarks of the X-Men and Fantastic Four in the MCU so far, and would also open the door for more stories starring the original Avengers, some of whom have been retired or killed off.

For the casting of Krasinski, reports have been swirling for a while that the actor is the best choice to play Reed Richards in the Fantastic Four reboot. The freshest reports suggested that Krasinski, who was in the running to play Captain America, has even had talks with Marvel about directing the film.

"I would love to do it,” Krasinski told ComicBook in March. “I think to be a part of the Marvel world would be amazing anyway, and the fact that people would even consider me for that level of a part would be amazing".

Marvel insider who leaked Avengers Endgame details exposes how X-Men will join MCU and says John Krasinski is in talks.

Can dogs help us to identify coronavirus positives?

Can dogs help us to identify coronavirus positives?

London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine

The young scientists of the University of Pennsylvania's School of veterinary medicine and the scientists of the UK are also trying to find the coronavirus affected victims in a new way.

They are researching whether they could take the help of the dogs as they have a strong sense of smell.

The first phase of the trial will be led by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, along with the charity and Durham University. The Britain government has funded it by £500,000.

The trial will reveal whether the "COVID dogs" - made up of Labradors and cocker spaniels can spot the virus in humans from odor samples before symptoms appear. The first phase will involve NHS staff in London hospitals collecting odor samples from those infected with coronavirus and those who are uninfected. Six dogs - Norman, Digby, Storm, Star, Jasper, and Asher - will then go through training to identify the virus from the samples.

Labrador

The charity said that the training could take as long as six to eight weeks. After months of training, the government will decide whether the dogs are useful in identifying the virus or not. More than 10 years of research gathered by Medical Detection Dogs has shown that dogs can be trained to smell out the odor of disease.

Dr. Claire Guest, the charity's co-founder and chief executive, said she was "sure our dogs will be able to find the odor of Covid-19". Prof. James Logan, from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, said, "Our previous work has shown that malaria has a distinctive odor, and with Medical Detection Dogs, we successfully trained dogs to accurately detect malaria.

The dogs are already helping to detect odors of certain cancers, malaria, and Parkinson's diseases.

Attention: Earthquake In Delhi. There were no damage or problem to the civilians

A low-intensity tremor has been felt in the national capital epicenter in Pitampura. The NCS said that the earthquake occurred at 11.28 am at a depth of 8 kilometers on Friday with a magnitude of 2.2.

On May 10, a medium-intensity earthquake of magnitude 3.4 hit the area near Wazirpur in northeast Delhi. Wazirpur and its nearby areas were the epicenters of the earthquakes that occurred on April 12 and April 13, of magnitude 3.5 and 2.7, respectively. There are five seismic zones. Delhi falls in the fourth zone. The important matter to be noted is that there is no damage or problem to the civilians.

Delhi

According to the Delhi Disaster Management Authority, seismicity around Delhi appears to be associated with a major geological structure known as the Delhi-Haridwar Ridge.

The last earthquake that occurred in Delhi before these was in 2004 of magnitude 2.8. Another 3.4 magnitude quake was recorded in the city in 2001, according to official data. The major earthquakes recorded near the national capital were at Bulandshahr (magnitude 6.7) on October 10, 1956, and at Moradabad (magnitude 5.8) on August 15, 1966. Both of them occurred in western Uttar Pradesh.

Testing for COVID-19 seems to be a difficult challenge. Will humans survive in this world?

Testing for COVID-19 seems to be a difficult challenge. Will humans survive in this world?

When we think about containing a particular disease most of the doctors would suggest that effective testing is important in reducing it.

In the case of coronavirus, a lot of organizations are trying to cure the victims but most of them are getting failed and due to the levity of the people it is spreading in great numbers in most of the big countries in the world.

It is also a major concern that the test for the public to identify the COVID-19 positives is not done to all. That too in a country with a large population it remains a difficult challenge.

The countries which started the test earlier are facing the pandemic at a different pace than the countries which started their tests later.

South Korea is more effective in treating the victims as they started their tests in January than countries like Italy which neglected to boost their testing.

As the economies of the countries declined they are not able to buy the needful amount of test kits in the needy time.

This is also a cause for the rise in COVID-19 positives.

The final result of the test takes too long as it needs to be tested in the PCR machines which need the lab assistants with a lot of expertise.

WHO's scientists revealed that coronavirus may become endemic. Will coronavirus rule the world forever ?

A piece of shocking news has been revealed by the authorities of the World Health Organization that the coronavirus may become an endemic such as the HIV-AIDS.

Scientists have told that even if vaccines were found to counter the COVID-19 virus, it cannot be told that how effective it would be.

Mike Ryan said that this virus may become just another endemic virus in our communities, and this virus may never go away. Mike Ryan is an emergency expert at WHO.

He also added that there vaccines for several diseases such as measles but it is to be noted that the diseases still exist.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus added: "The trajectory is in our hands, and it's everybody's business, and we all should contribute to stop this pandemic."

Governments around the world are struggling with the question of how to reopen their economies while still containing the virus, which has infected almost 4.3 million people, according to a Reuters tally, and led to over 291,000 deaths.

So to control this outbreak everyone should follow personal hygiene as well as social distancing even after this tough time gets over because this is not a problem of an individual it is everyone's problem.

India's peace has been troubled by the Chinese army.

India's peace has been troubled by the Chinese army

The long walk of peace in the north-eastern border of India has come to an end on May 9th of this month during a worldwide critical condition.

The peace has been disturbed by the trespassing of the Chinese army into the Indian border. In this clash between the border forces, 7 Chinese and 4 Indians are injured. The conflict has been solved as the local commanders of both the nations spoke off.

The fight has been held near the Naku La sector in the border state of Sikkim.

In the year 2017, the two countries engaged in a months-long territorial standoff on the disputed Doklam plateau, on the unmarked border between China and Bhutan. After some months both the governments backed down eventually.

The last border war between these two countries before this was held in the year 1962.

The truth about 10th Standard CBSE Board Exam Evaluation and postponement.

The truth about 10th Standard CBSE Board Exam Evaluation and postponement

After the long wait of the students, the Union Ministry of Human Resource and Development has decided to send the answer sheets to the respected subject teachers' houses so that they can start evaluating the marks.

As there are many rumors about the postponed exams of 10th and 12th, the government has made the air clear that those will take place in the first fortnight of July after having several discussions with the concerned authorities about the students' safety and hygiene measure.

The Honorable Union Minister of Human Resource and Development Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal also informed that the board exams will take place all over India except Northeast Delhi as there is an extension of lockdown due to the ongoing pandemic.

As this is an effective way of correcting the papers in a short period, but securing the evaluated paper from the public notice and malpractices remains a major concern.

The successful return of the spacecraft has proved the capabilities of the vessel to resist heat as vehicles re-entering the Earth's atmosphere face high temperatures. It is also to be noted that the Chinese made it possible this only in their third trial. As they have aimed to build their space station, this test has given them positive news.

The Chinese are also trying to send astronauts to the moon as they have invested a large amount of money in their further space activities.
