China's arrangement to evacuate its residents from India is seen as a critical affair
China is planning to evacuate Chinese citizens, including students, businessmen, tourists, and other Chinese citizens from India. There have been records that some of them have complained of suffering 'difficulties' in India and want to return home. The Chinese embassy issued a notice regarding this on its website this Monday.
The Chinese embassy has requested those desiring to return home to book tickets on special flights. Coronavirus has infected nearly 1.40 lakh people in India. The coronavirus, which was first noticed in the Chinese city of Wuhan at the beginning of this year, has spread to over 190 nations. It has infected over 54 lakh people and executed more than 3.4 lakh lives.
The main point has to be made that the Indian government evacuated 700 Indians from Wuhan in February. The announcement by the Chinese embassy stated people opting to return home will have to accept all quarantine and epidemic restriction orders. They will have to maintain the rules during flight as well as after entering China.
The declaration has been printed in Mandarin. It stated people treated for coronavirus or having indications of fever for the last 14 days should not take the flights. It advised that people from other nations may also be evacuated.
China's arrangement to evacuate its citizens from India is also seen as a severe matter as their order comes at a time when troops of both the nations are locked in a tense tie in the disputed border regions of Pangong Tso and Galwan Valley along the Line of Actual Control in Eastern Ladakh for over two weeks.
